Abstract

Are you conducting research in the field of circulatory and respiratory health? Are you looking for practical guidance and tools to effectively communicate your research to the media? If so, we invite you to participate in our media training session! This training session will provide you with some tips and tools you may employ to interact more effectively with the media, as well as examples of how to avoid miscommunication.

Biography

David Coulombe, Media Specialist at CIHR, will provide a presentation followed by a guest panelist discussion including a question and answer (Q&A) period. We are excited to hear the perspectives of our guest panelists Dr. Lynora Saxinger, Dr. Paul Dorian, and Dr. Samir Gupta, who will share some of their invaluable experience communicating research with the media. Dr. Brian Rowe, Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health (CIHR-ICRH), will moderate the panel discussion
