Fibre Colloquium: A Healthier World With Smart Textiles

Join us at the Fibre Colloquium, a ground-breaking event hosted by FIBRE at the KITE Research Institute. This unique event will bring together leading academics and researchers to explore the latest advancements in textile-based wearable technologies for healthcare applications. With participation from FIBRE's global partners at SONA College in India, the colloquium promises a rich exchange of ideas and innovations.

This free, hybrid event will be held in person at the KITE Research Institute, 2nd Floor Auditorium, 2-014, 550 University Ave, Toronto, and on Zoom.

These tickets are for the first session of the colloquium. It is a public event and will offer a unique opportunity for textile, fashion and design creatives to learn and engage with scientists and engineers involved in cutting-edge research into wearables for medical applications. It also includes complimentary coffee and pastries.

A closed workshop will follow, beginning at 9:55 a.m. Attendance at that closed session is by invitation only, and attendees to that second session need to RSVP to a separate invitation. That session offers a chance for scientists to discuss future projects and collaborative funding opportunities, and for those attending in person to network after presentations and discussions.
