Join us at the Fibre Colloquium, a ground-breaking event hosted by FIBRE at the KITE Research Institute. This unique event will bring together leading academics and researchers to explore the latest advancements in textile-based wearable technologies for healthcare applications. With participation from FIBRE's global partners at SONA College in India, the colloquium promises a rich exchange of ideas and innovations.
This free, hybrid event will be held in person at the KITE Research Institute, 2nd Floor Auditorium, 2-014, 550 University Ave, Toronto, and on Zoom.
Tickets are available at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fibre-colloquium-a-healthier-world-with-smart-textiles-tickets-1323898318509
These tickets are for the first session of the colloquium. It is a public event and will offer a unique opportunity for textile, fashion and design creatives to learn and engage with scientists and engineers involved in cutting-edge research into wearables for medical applications. It also includes complimentary coffee and pastries.
A closed workshop will follow, beginning at 9:55 a.m. Attendance at that closed session is by invitation only, and attendees to that second session need to RSVP to a separate invitation. That session offers a chance for scientists to discuss future projects and collaborative funding opportunities, and for those attending in person to network after presentations and discussions.
This event will foster knowledge sharing, encourage future collaborations, and spark ideas for new projects. Don't miss this chance to be part of a multidisciplinary ecosystem dedicated to creating a healthier world through textile-based technologies!
