Paul B Yoo KITE CRANIA

Prof. Yoo is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto, who is also an affiliated scientist at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. He completed his Ph.D. degree at Case Western Reserve University (Advisor: Prof. Dominque M Durand) and trained as a post-doctoral researcher at Duke University (Advisor: Prof. Warren M Grill). His current research areas include (1) development of novel technologies that can better interface electronic hardware with the nervous system, (2) uncovering physiological mechanisms that can be modulated by electrical nerve stimulation, and (3) clinical translation of preclinical discoveries.
