Kara Patterson

Dr. Patterson is a physiotherapist, a Senior Scientist at KITE on the Neuro team, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. The overall goal of Dr Patterson's research program is to advance neurorehabilitation practice in order to improve gait and mobility outcomes for people living with neurological conditions. Her current work is exploring the use of visual feedback to improve walking and the use of dance and music to improve mobility and psychosocial well-being after stroke.
