Tracey Colella

Dr. Colella is a Scientist at KITE and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Nursing and Rehab Sciences Institute at the University of Toronto. Tracey's research addresses issues that patients face during the transition of care from acute hospitalization into outpatient cardiac rehabilitation. She is investigating innovative strategies to improve patient outcomes including early follow-up, peer support intervention and mobile technology to promote early engagement and provide program delivery options. Tracey has a particular interest in addressing the needs of vulnerable populations such as women, the elderly and cardiac rehab non-enroller.
