Yana Yunusova
Dr. Yunusova is a Senior Scientist at KITE. She is a Professor at the Department of Speech Language Pathology and Rehabilitation Sciences Institute at the University of Toronto. She is also the Director of the Bulbar Function Lab and Associate Scientist at Sunnybrook Research Institute. She is a certified speech language pathologist. Yana's research is focused on neurologic disorders affecting speech (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, stroke). Her research program is devoted to understanding how neurologic damage affects speech production as well as developing new technologies to assess and treat motor speech disorders of neurological origin.
